2019 Jeep Cherokee

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee has seven different trims levels available: the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Trailhawk Elite trims. Each trim can be customized with up to 11 exterior colors. All 2019 models can come equipped with a wide range of advanced features, such as heated mirrors that prevent fog buildup in cold weather and available heated wipers that can thaw frost or ice accumulated on the windshield. And with the Technology Group available on Limited and higher trims, these wipers can also detect rain and start wiping the windshield automatically in the case of bad weather.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee has three available engines. The standard engine is the 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark MultiAir, which delivers 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. This engine can tow a 2000 pound load. The most powerful engine available is the 3.2-liter, six-cylinder Pentastar engine that puts out 271 horsepower, and 239 pound-feet of torque, and can tow a 4500-pound load. Also available is the all-new powerful and efficient 2.0-liter Turbo Engine, which delivers 270 horsepower and can tow a 4000-pound load, all while getting up to three more miles per gallon than the Pentastar.

Front-wheel drive is standard on all Jeep Cherokee trims except the Trailhawk and Trailhawk elite trims, where four-wheel drive is standard. Of the seven 2019 trims, the Trailhawk and Trailhawk elite trims have by far the strongest features for handling off-road terrain. These trims provide ample ground clearance, superior suspension, and skid plates, and can be driven around logs or rocks without getting damaged. Both Trailhawk trims also have water-fording capabilities and can be driven through streams or shallow water.

Each 2019 Jeep Cherokee seats five passengers and has ample leg room. In the front row, you'll find power steering, voice-activated navigation systems, and a back-up camera. With the Limited trim and higher, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee comes with heated seats and a heated steering wheel. Every 2019 Jeep Cherokee comes with a touch-screen stereo with six speakers.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee is equipped with some of the most cutting-edge safety features on the market. The blind-spot monitoring system uses dual radar to detect when another vehicle is approaching the Cherokee's blind spot zone and alerts the driver with a chime sound and a visual warning on the exterior mirror. This Jeep also warns the driver with audible and visual alerts when they drift from their lane using the LaneSense Lane Departure Warning technology. There is also a forward collision feature that alerts drivers of possible collisions when they get too close to the car ahead. When backing out of parking spaces, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee has sensing technology that assists the driver when there are vehicles blocking their view.
