Trim Levels
The Jeep Grand Cherokee has twelve trim levels. These include the Laredo, Laredo E, Upland, Altitude, Limited, Trailhawk, Limited X, Overland, High Altitude, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. Most trims allow you a 4x2 or 4x4 driving option, but the Trailhawk, SRT, and Trackhawk are only 4x4 models. Exterior features on the Grand Cherokee include LED daytime running lamps and Bi-Xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps, which are available on the Limited X trim and higher. Another lighting feature is front LED fog lamps that are standard on the Overland trim and higher.
Engine
The Grand Cherokee has four engine options. The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which is standard on all trims except the SRT and Trackhawk. A 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine is an option on 4x4 trims starting with the Limited. The SRT trim comes with a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine, while the Trackhawk has a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. An 8-speed automatic transmission is offered on all trims. Available on the SRT trim is a paddle-shift transmission to give increased control when on the road.
Performance
The Trackhawk and SRT trims use a Bilstein adaptive suspension system that adjusts the dampers for sport or track performance. It also has an electronically limited slip differential that distributes power to the wheels. There are a variety of 4x4 systems that drivers can get with the Grand Cherokee. The base Selec-Terrain system gives you four modes, auto, snow, sport, and sand/mud for all-weather capabilities. This system is available on the Laredo, Laredo E, Upland, and Altitude trims. The Quadra-Trac II System has a two-speed transfer case that uses sensors to determine tire slip so it can take corrective action. It is paired with the Selec-Terrain traction control system. The Quadra-Trac II is available on the Limited, Trailhawk, Limited X, Overland, High Altitude, and Summit trim. The SRT and Trackhawk trims come with Quadra-Trac Active On Demand, which is a full-time 4x4 system that operates with no driver interaction required. It uses an integrated traction control system to transfer torque from wheels that are slipping to ones that have traction.
Interior
The Jeep Grand Cherokee has a Uconnect system that offers drivers entertainment, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Uconnect is accessed on an 8.4-inch touch screen. There is a 7-inch driver information digital cluster that can be accessed to show you engine specs, fuel economy, navigation, and radio information. With seating for five, drivers can upgrade their seating to ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, as well as a heated steering wheel. You can also get a CommandView dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Other features offered are adaptive cruise control with stop, full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, LaneSense lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and parallel and perpendicular park assist.
