Trim Levels
The Jeep Wrangler has five trims: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, and Moab. The Sport, Sport S, and Rubicon come in both two-door and four-door options while the Sahara and Moab are only available with four doors. The 2019 Wrangler comes with a fold-down windshield that is easier to fold up or down than its predecessors as it only requires you to remove four bolts instead of 28. There are five roof options available with the Wrangler. These include a black Sunrider soft top, black freedom top three-piece hard top, body-color three-piece hard top, premium tan Sunrider soft top, and the Sky One-Touch Power Top, which will fully open the roof in 20 seconds with the touch of a button. You can also remove the rear-quarter windows and doors for an open option on the Wrangler.
Engine
Two engines are available on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Standard on all trims is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. It generates up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo engine is also available, yielding 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This engine is an available option for all trims except the Moab and will improve your city fuel efficiency by 35 percent on two-door models.
Performance
The Wrangler has three 4x4 systems that are available on different trims. The Selec-Trac 4x4 System uses a full-time mode that automatically switches between 2WD and 4WD based on the conditions you are driving in. The system provides the Wrangler continuous traction that conquers snow, rocks, and mud. You can activate Smart Lock to maintain a constant 4WD when you are on the trails or facing difficult road conditions. This system is standard on the Moab and is an option on the Sahara. The Command-Trac 4x4 System allows you to shift-on-the-fly. It has a 2.72:1 low range so you can do rock crawling and a neutral option for flat towing. The Command-Trac system is available on the Sport, Sport S, and Sahara trims. The final 4x4 system is the Rock-Trac 4x4 System, which is standard on the Rubicon. This option gives you control and torque for excellent off-road performance. The system has an NV241 off-road transfer case with a 4:1 low gear ratio. There is a Tru-Lok electronic locking front and rear differential with an electronic front sway bar disconnect as well.
Interior
The Wrangler's UConnect System gives you access to entertainment, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the dash, there is a 7-inch driver Information digital cluster display that gives you key data while driving.
Safety Features
The Wrangler has an available Advanced Safety Group which uses active safety systems like full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, adaptive cruise control, and enhanced adaptive cruise control for optimal safety while on the road. The Wrangler also includes a ParkSense rear park assist system to help you while you park.
