2019 Ram 1500

You have a choice of nine trim levels. The regular cab has two doors, seats three people, and you can select a 6-foot-4 bed or an 8-foot bed. A quad cab seats six in comfort, so you can haul your gear and your crew. It comes with a standard 6-foot-4 bed. The crew cab also has seats for six but with more leg room, and it offers a bed length of 5-foot-7 or 6-foot-4. For secure storage, the Rambox system is an available option offering keyless entry to the secure cargo area in the side rails of the bed.

Under the hood, you can opt for the 3.6-liter V-6 engine which gives you 305 horsepower with 269 pound-feet of torque. If you need more power, the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 option delivers 395 horsepower with 410 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a 240 horsepower 3-liter V-6 EcoDiesel powerplant providing 420 pound-feet of torque. All of the engines are linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission and you have the choice of four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive configurations.

The Ram 1500 can handle the tough jobs with a maximum payload of 1,880 pounds and a maximum towing capability of 10,620 pounds. When you're hauling or towing a heavy load, the hill start assist will get you going in the right direction. The four-wheel drive models will transport you over the roughest terrain and, for extra ground clearance, there is the option of four-corner air suspension which lets you set the ride height to five different levels. At high speed, sensors automatically lower the height for safety.

There is a wide variety of interior trim options on the 2018 Ram 1500, but any model you choose matches superior passenger comfort with durability so you can cope with the wear and tear of everyday work. The six-seater models have 60/40 split folding back seats to maximize storage capacity. Crew cab models also have extra in-floor storage available. The Uconnect system with its 8.4-inch color touchscreen will provide you with a navigation system, entertainment center, connectivity for your smartphone, and more.

There is no compromise on safety with the Ram 1500. For safe stopping on any surface, all models have four-wheel antilock disc brakes. Electronic stability control enables the driver to remain in control in all conditions. In the event of a side impact, the door beams will absorb the force of the impact, while the side curtain air bags help to protect the passengers. Crumple zones on the front of the truck provide protection in a front-end impact. The backup camera makes easy work of parking and lining up a trailer.
