2020 Jeep Cherokee
The 2020 Jeep Cherokee has big shoes to fill. The Jeep brand is famous for providing powerful, dependable vehicles that perform in a variety of driving conditions. The 2020 Cherokee lives up to the challenge, however, with a strong combination of performance and conveniences that will appeal to a variety of drivers.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2020 Jeep Cherokee has seven different trim levels, including the Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. The base model, the Laredo, is no slouch, and it comes packed with features. The Limited ups the ante with a powered liftgate for more convenience. Regardless of which trim you choose, you get angular LED headlights and a front grille inspired by the classic Jeep styling.

It also comes with summer performance tires, as well as a sporty body kit. The Trackhawk stands at the top of the mountain with most of the SRT's features as well as 20-inch wheels with performance tires and Brembo brakes.
Engine (Power)
The Laredo has a 3.6-liter V-6, and the Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit have a 5.7-liter V-8 that packs 360 horsepower along with 390 lb-ft of torque. The SRT stuffs 475 horsepower into a 6.4-liter V-8 that also produces 470 ft-lb of torque. The Trackhawk flashes an impressive 707 horsepower with its 6.2-liter V-8, which also delivers 645 lb-ft of torque.
Performance
The Trailhawk has 4WD and off-road tires. It uses Quadra-Trac II gearing for more responsive performance and is coupled with Quadra-Drive II to help maintain traction in challenging conditions. The Overland has a similar profile as the Trailhawk, but it is less geared for off-road performance. It does come with self-parking and is overall more luxurious than the Overland. The V6 can jump from zero to 60 mph in 8.0 seconds. It can also go from that speed to a complete stop in only 124 feet. The SRT version comes with AWD.

The 2020 Jeep Cherokee also excels when it comes to its towing ability. The Cherokee can lug 7,200 pounds. This gives it the flexibility to be used both for fun and for when it's time to get down to business, whether you're moving or hauling a friend's vehicle.
Interior
The 2020 Jeep Cherokee comes with plenty of room even for taller passengers and drivers. The driver's seat is positioned with everything in close proximity to allow for maximum control with minimal movement. The driver can easily control the infotainment system, the windows and door locks, and the climate controls without shifting in the seat.

The 2020 Jeep Cherokee features comfortable leather upholstery, a Harmon Kardon system with 19 speakers, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
Safety Features
The Cherokee comes with blind-spot monitoring so you can be alerted if another vehicle is in your blind spot before you change lanes or make a turn. It also has a helpful Forward Collision Mitigation system that can detect situations where another vehicle or object is in its path. If you start to drift out of your lane, the Jeep Cherokee can give you a warning so you can correct your position.
