There's nothing quite like feeling the bass in your bones while enjoying live music. The Ocean Township area is home to many great music venues featuring acts from around the local area, around the country, and even around the world. Check out these spots for some great shows this summer!

River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar

River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar is an outdoor dining venue that features live music throughout the year at their location in Brick. Have a seat along the waterfront and watch the boats go by as you dine on steaks, wings, pizza, and seafood. Or dip your feet in the sand while sipping libations at the beach bar, which overlooks the Manasquan River. If you're arriving by boat, dock at their marina and head inside for food, drinks, and music. This Jersey Shore hot spot hosts nightly events, including live music acts from local and regional bands, cover bands, DJs, and more. This summer, be sure to head to River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar to check out reggae music on Wednesdays, as well as Rainbow Full of Sound – Grateful Dead Tribute Band on July 11, August 8, and August 22! River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.

The Saint

The Saint is one of the top small venues hosting live music in the heart of historic Asbury Park, about 35 miles north of Ocean Township. The venue opened its doors in 1994 and presents two to three regional, national, and international acts almost every night throughout the year. The intimate venue holds 150 people, and the four-way monitor mix produces amazing sound that will get your feet moving. This summer, grab a spot and listen to such acts as In Spite Of on July 12, Spirit Animal on July 18, Stick Men on August 2, and The Vegabonds on August 15. The Saint is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The Stone Pony

The Stone Pony opened its doors in 1974 and is the anchor of Asbury Park, bringing in local, regional, and national music acts, including top artists and budding stars. Each summer, The Stone Pony hosts weekly acts and this summer is no different. Acts coming in July include The Bouncing Souls on July 13, Sublime with Rome in July 14, and The Flaming Lips & Claypool Lennon Delirium on July 28. In August, head to the venue to listen to Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria on August 9, as well as Social Distortion & Flogging Molly on August 31. The box office is open Wednesday through Monday from 12 to 5 p.m., as well as during show hours. The high school is a four-year public school located in Oakhurst and serves the communities of Oakhurst, Wanamassa, Wayside, and West Allenhurst. There are just over 1,000 students at the high school and 105 teachers. The high school overs over 18 Advanced Placement courses and works with Monmouth University to offer a dual credit program. The average graduation rate for Ocean Township High School is between 97% and 99%. The high school also has an excellent athletic program. What Is There To Do In Ocean Township?
