2020 Jeep Gladiator at The Jeep Store in Ocean Township, NJThe 2020 Jeep Gladiator is your off-roading champion. Not only is it the only convertible truck on the market, but it also boasts best-in-class payload and tow ratings, excellent off-road capability, and loads of convenient features.

Like the Wrangler, the Gladiator features a convertible soft top or three-piece hardtop, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield to provide the typical Jeep outdoor feel. You can choose from four trims: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. Here is some more information on what the 2020 Gladiator has to offer.

  1. Impressive Utility

With the 2020 Gladiator comes an all-new, high-strength steel frame, heavy-duty axles, a new coil rear suspension, and the largest brakes in its class. It also features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission that’s good for 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. All of these features make for a best-in-class tow rating of 7,650 pounds and a best-in-class payload rating of 1,600 pounds.

The Gladiator boasts a rugged all-steel 5-foot cargo bed that comes with a three-position tailgate and four integrated tie-down loops that can be adjusted as needed. You can also opt for convenient available features such as LED cargo lighting, a bed liner for extra protection and durability, a 115-volt/400-watt power outlet, a system of moveable cleats, and a roll-up tonneau bed cover that provides secure storage coverage.

  1. Superb Off-Road Capability

The Gladiator is one of the most off-road-capable trucks on the market. Every trim comes with the Trail Rated badge, which means that it has passed grueling off-road testing, and features standard off-road equipment like heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, skid plates, tow hooks, and 11.1-inches of ground clearance.

If you want superior off-road capability, opt for the off-road-focused Rubicon that sports even more standard off-road features that include locking front and rear differentials, a Rock-Trac 4:1 transfer case, an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar, body-protecting rock rails, and Fox shocks. An available segment-exclusive forward-facing TrailCam off-road camera will help you to navigate rough terrain by displaying the best path ahead.

  1. Comfortable Interior

The cabin of the Gladiator is comfortable and provides respectable head- and legroom, both in the front and the rear. The base infotainment system offers a 5-inch display, eight speakers, Bluetooth, and a USB port, but you can also opt for upgraded features that include a 7-inch display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. With the base trim, you’ll get cloth upholstery, air conditioning, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat. Higher trims offer convenient features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting.

  1. Advanced Safety and Driver-Assist Features

The Gladiator offers standard safety equipment such as hill start assist, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, trailer sway control, and a rear backup camera. You can also opt for advanced driver-assist features that include forward collision warning, a blind-spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, rear park assist, and rear cross-path detection.
