The Jeep Renegade is a small but versatile SUV. The Seating
The comfortable seats offer many different adjustments to help the driver and passenger find just the right spot, with the driver’s seat getting the option for a power-adjustment feature. The high-end cloth upholstery is soft and comfortable, and if you bump up to the Limited, you’ll get leather seats.
The Cold Weather Group
The Cold Weather Group is a package available for the Latitude and comes standard with the Limited. This adds automatic wipers with deicers, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats. It also comes with all-season rubber floor mats.
The Technology
The entry-level Sport trim comes with a 5-inch touch screen display and a USB port, but you can opt for the Uconnect 7.0 Group which adds a 7-inch touch screen along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration and satellite radio. All this comes standard on the other trims. Additional technology available in the higher trims includes an extra USB port for the back seat, a 115-volt power outlet, and a nine-speaker Bose stereo system. Jeep also offers the option for an even larger 8.4-inch touch screen.
The Cargo Space and Storage
The Renegade has up to 50.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down, and the seats have a 60/40 split so you can create both seating and storage space. The cargo area also features a removable cargo floor panel for extra storage. The higher trims have a folding front passenger seat as well, which makes it possible to carry longer items.
There is an abundance of small item storage spaces in the Renegade with a good size bin under the center armrest and a small space by the shifter that will fit your phone. On the passenger side, there is now a cargo net that will hold a phone or a tablet.
The Convenience Features
Even the base level Sport comes with a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and you can opt for the Power & Air Group to tack on cruise control and air conditioning. The Latitude adds ambient LED lighting and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Dual-zone automatic climate control is available along with an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The available 7-inch driver information display makes it easy to see all the information you need. Steering-wheel-mounted controls allow the driver to access the navigation system, the traction management system, and other vehicle information without taking their hands off the wheel.
