Apart from the wide variety of different models and trims that Jeep offers, the manufacturer also periodically launches limited-edition Jeep vehicles. These models normally feature unique exterior and interior trims and may also offer a unique combination of features. This article will provide an overview of the limited edition trims offered with the 2019 Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee.
Jeep Wrangler
The Wrangler boasts Jeep’s rugged good looks and excellent off-road capability. It is available in two body styles, a two-door and a four-door Unlimited model. You can also choose from four trims that include Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. In addition, two limited-edition Wranglers are available.
Altitude
The Altitude limited-edition trim brings with it mostly aesthetic upgrades that include 18-inch black aluminum wheels, and gloss black interior and exterior accents. It also features a Jeep Performance Parts headliner that minimizes exterior noise. You can choose from two Altitude models:
- Sport Altitude: This model is based on the Sport trim but features an all-black interior with cloth seats and a black three-piece hardtop.
- Sahara Altitude: This model basically offers the same features as the Sahara trim, but adds black leather upholstery and a body-colored three-piece hardtop.
Moab
The Moab limited-edition trim, which was named after the red rocks and off-road trails in Moab, Utah, adds off-road capability to the Sahara trim. It features a unique hood with air vents, 17-inch Moab wheels, off-road rock rails, a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system, and an anti-spin rear differential. Apart from its off-road features, the Moab also boasts leather upholstery and the Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system.
Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Grand Cherokee is one of the most capable off-roading SUVs on the market. In addition, this five-passenger SUV offers an upscale interior and impressive tow ratings. Apart from seven trim levels — Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk — there are also four limited editions on offer.
Upland
The Upland limited trim combines Jeep’s capability with luxury features. It features 20-inch black wheels with all-terrain tires, gloss black exterior finishes, and black tow hooks. The interior offers black premium upholstery with blue-accent stitching and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Altitude
The Altitude limited trim adds interior upgrades such as a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, and the Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system. The exterior features 20-inch aluminum wheels, gloss black accents on the badging and grille, a power liftgate, and fog lamp bezels.
Limited X
With the Limited X limited trim comes distinctive aesthetic changes. The exterior boasts low-gloss granite crystal exterior accents, black dual chrome exhaust tips, a modified SRT hood, Limited X badging, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. In the cabin, you’ll find piano black bezels, titanium finishes, and black heritage seats.
High Altitude
The High Altitude limited trim adds convenient features and also boasts unique aesthetic upgrades. On the outside, the trim sports granite crystal accents, HID headlights, black chrome exhaust tips, and 20-inch wheels. The interior is fitted with black perforated Nappa leather upholstery and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system.
