Silverball Museum Arcade
If you are looking for a unique experience, you’ll definitely want to stop by the Silverball Museum Arcade. There are hundreds of games to choose from, and you pay by the minute, not the round. Everyone is sure to find an old favorite or maybe even a couple of new ones. This arcade’s boardwalk location makes it a great place to hang out with the family.
The Paranormal Museum
The Paranormal Museum has been intriguing its patrons since 2008. When you arrive, a docent will take you through the exhibits, which include things like haunted dolls, relics and remains, and prison ghosts, and will explain a little bit about each one. Afterward, you will be given time to explore the museum more closely, if you choose.
The museum is currently only open for scheduled tours on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Get your tickets early because they do sell out quickly. Your guided tour will last 60 minutes.
Asbury Splash Park
Located on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, Asbury Splash Park is a great place to cool off. The kids will love splashing through the park’s many sprinklers or getting drenched by the oversized watering can. There are plenty of seats where you can sit and relax while you watch the kids play.
Enjoy the splash park all day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily during the season. There is a fee to enter, but a discount is available after 4 p.m. Feel free to bring a cooler with some drinks and snacks for the kids.
Experience the Sea.Hear.Now Festival
The Sea.Hear.Now Festival is a one-of-a-kind experience. The event takes place in September and provides two days of entertainment. You will hear music from over 25 performers on three stages, and surfing pros will have live demos and surfboard shaping you can watch. There will also be delicious regional cuisine and immersive art experiences for you to enjoy as well.
Sea.Hear.Now is committed to raising awareness about cleaning up the ocean. Attend the event to do your part for cleaning up the oceans and enjoy a unique experience in Asbury Park.
Wooden Walls Art Project
The Wooden Walls Art Project is a joint effort by the Parlor Gallery and the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Together, they work with local artists and others from all over the globe, to create amazing murals to decorate the walls of the Asbury Park Boardwalk. This project is a great effort to clean up and beautify the increasingly popular area. Stop by and see what they’ve come up with so far.
