The Jeep Willys Wrangler: Channeling the Spirit of the Original Willys

If you enjoy the historical Jeep designs of the past but value modern day technologies, then you may be in luck with the latest Jeep trim package. You can have the best of both worlds with the Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler trim package. Check out a few of its best features. The Early Days of the Willys Jeep The original Willys MB was first produced in 1940. Instead of the adventure-ready off-roading vehicle that Jeep is today, it was initially designed as an army vehicle during World War II. After the war ended, Jeep made minimal changes and then released it to the public. Over the years, the Willys Jeep saw many different versions, including the Quad, MA, MB, CJ-2A, and the CJ-3A. It is no surprise that the unique history of the first line of Jeeps has captured the attention of many Jeep loyalists today. The iconic design of the early Willys Jeep is a rare sight to see. more The Willys Jeep Package of Today Fast forward to a time when vehicles are now equipped with the latest technologies and comfort features. Jeep has designed many vehicles over the years that achieve both exceptional performance and a comfortable drive. Many would say that Jeep has stuck to their traditional design, while also making the necessary changes for an updated look. Of course, it is expected that you will lose some of the traditional designs when you keep up with changing trends. The Willys Jeep package gives drivers the latest technologies, but also allows them to honor the historical stylings of the Willys Jeep. Exterior Design The exterior design is the main reason for choosing a Willys Jeep package upgrade. It features off-road tires, glossy blackened wheels, and tinted windows. The performance suspension and rock rails give you enhanced performance and maintain the Willy Jeep design. There is also an exclusive Willys hood decal in case anyone wondered what the unique design was. Interior Design The interior is where you are likely to see the majority of differences between the Jeep Willys of the past and today's Willys Wheeler appearance package. Today's Willys Jeep attempts to follow traditional stylings of the past, including cloth seats and a basic black dash. However, the existence of Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and the Uconnect driver infotainment system will remind you that it is actually 2019. Power The Willys Jeep of the 1940s was powerful for its time. The Jeeps of today are easily the most capable off-road vehicle available in the market. There is no question that the current day Jeep Willys package will also be powerfully capable. It is powered with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine for 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It also comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and an optional five-speed automatic is available as an upgrade. The Jeep Willys Wheeler package celebrates both the iconic Jeep brand of the past and the modern day upgrades of today. Come by Sea View Jeep today to check out the full inventory of 2019 Jeeps. Why the Jeep Renegade is a Great Choice for Any & All Travel

The freedom and adventure connected to the Jeep brand is very accessible with the Jeep Renegade. The ruggedly charming compact crossover offers the SUV experience in a smaller, more affordable package. Value and Safety The Renegade is Jeep's smallest and least expensive model, offering a great entry point to the Jeep experience. Trim levels include the Sport (base model with a manual transmission), Upland, Latitude, Altitude, Trailhawk (best model for off-road adventures), and Limited. The Renegade earned four stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Safety features include abundant airbags (driver, front passenger, front and rear head, and front side), a rearview camera, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, front and rear disc brakes, brake assist, electronic stability control, daytime running lights, child safety locks, and traction control. more Style The Renegade simply looks like a Jeep — and that's the draw for many drivers. The exterior has the trademark Jeep look: the seven grille slots, round headlights, and abundant vertical angles that have represented the brand since its debut at the dawn of World War II. Even the inside screams "Jeep," with military-style oversized controls and a vertical dash. The Renegade's designers added playful extras, too: the tachometer is marked with a mud splash, and the display on the available parking assist shows the surrounding vehicles as 1940s Jeeps. Comfort and Convenience The driver's seat and front passenger seat are roomy, and rear passengers have abundant head and shoulder space, though designers tightened the rear leg room to save space. Cargo space reaches 50.8 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats. Most models also let you fold down the front passenger seat for longer objects like ladders. You'll also find plenty of nooks and crannies for small items like your phone. Power features and a rearview camera are standard on all models. The following technology is also available: forward-collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, lane-departure warnings, parking assist, touch-screen infotainment system, Bluetooth, keyless ignition, dual-zone automatic temperature control, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a removable roof system. On-Road and Off-Road Performance With its compact size and tight turning radius, the Renegade suits urban and suburban living. It gets in and out of small spaces like garages and parallel parking spaces with ease. The 4x4 models have Jeep's all-weather system, Selec-Terrain. It starts with all four wheels engaged but decreases power to the rear wheels as you accelerate. Above 40 mph, the Renegade drives as a front-wheel-drive vehicle, maximizing your fuel economy. But if it senses slippage, it engages the rear wheels to improve your traction. Adventurous drivers can choose from the Renegade's various modes (Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud) that optimize the drivetrain according to your terrain. The Trailhawk trim level comes with a fifth mode (Rock) and hill descent control. Whether you're a city slicker, a suburban dweller, or a rugged off-roader, you'll find something to love about the Jeep Renegade. It's a fun and budget-friendly choice for drivers in the SUV market.
