5 Cheap Eateries With Great Food in Asbury Park | Sea View JeepAsbury Park is home to one of New Jersey’s top ten beaches, and with its close proximity to both New York City and Philadelphia, it’s a popular destination. I’m sure you’ll be hungry when you arrive, so why not try one of these great eateries?

Toast City Diner

Toast City Diner, located at 516 Cookman Avenue, is a great spot to grab a delicious breakfast. Their motto, “Peace, Love & Pancakes,” describes the feeling they want their customers to leave with. Try their fluffy pancakes or Challah French toast covered in strawberries, or grab a sandwich for lunch. Toast is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Asbury Ale House

Asbury Ale House has something for everyone. Whether you want to hang out and catch the game or have a night out with the family, this tavern has you covered. Choose a beer from their huge selection to enjoy while you watch the game on one of their 40 TV screens. The family will have a great time playing arcade games while they wait for their meal.

Enjoy one of their award-winning, house-made sauces on a burger, wrap, or sandwich. They offer lunch specials and a late-night menu, too. Asbury Ale House is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Lotería

If you’re in the mood for some delicious Mexican street food, then Lotería is the place to go. They offer a delicious variety of tacos, burritos, and house specials that are sure to please. Try the tostadas, which come with black beans, queso fresco, lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro, onion, and crema. You can also add a meat or veggie for additional charge.

Lotería is located at 632 Mattison Avenue, and their hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday hours are from noon to 10:30 p.m., and Sundays they are open from noon to 9:30 p.m.

Frank’s Deli

You can find Frank’s Deli at 1406 Main Street in Asbury Park. Frank’s has been a popular eatery with locals for about 50 years. You can dine-in or take your sandwich to the beach with you. For breakfast, try the pancake special or a delicious breakfast sandwich. For lunch, you’re sure to love Frank’s overstuffed chicken salad club sandwich.

You can enjoy a mouth-watering meal from Frank’s Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and  Sundays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Medusa Stone Fired Kitchen

No list of eateries would be complete without a pizza joint. If you’re looking for good pizza at a great price, then check out Medusa’s, located at 711 4th Avenue Main Street. You can find their daily specials on their Facebook page or Instagram, and their menu consists of sides, salads, sandwiches, and tons of pizza options.
