So, you’ve just gotten your brand new Jeep and are amazed by its comfort and style. Now you’re looking to test its ruggedness, though it may be a bit difficult to find the perfect spot. Fortunately, there are still some charming locations in the area where you can take your new beauty out for some true adventure that’s off-the-beaten-path. Even though you may not have many options to go mudding with your pals, there are still some wonderful places to explore in your Jeep.
NJ Field of Dreams
If you happen to have an ATV in tow, this ATV park is a great place to visit with the family. It has over 3.5 miles of trails to enjoy and two separate tracks. It is accommodating for budding motocross riders or just four-wheeler enthusiasts. This park even has a stylized mini-vintage track that features some jumps that are easily angled and not too high, since it’s intended for beginners. The next time you’re looking to kill some time and perhaps begin a new hobby be certain to visit this exciting track.
Ready to Ride
This park in Egg Harbor Township caters to several different vehicles. This park is set up for ATVs, dirt bikes, and go-karts. The park is run by the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League and is open seven days a week. The park encourages beginners in their field and is not set up for competition. It is designed to give everyone an equal playing field and practice facilities. If you’re out and about though, be sure to tow your go-kart with your Jeep because they don’t offer rental vehicles of any kind.
Old Bridge Township Raceway Park
If you’re looking for a chance to rev up your engine, this park may be just your ticket. This park offers an actual raceway and is customized for drag racers, motocross riders, and ATV riders. There are times available for practice, but this park is more focused on those wanting to participate in events. In addition to the races, there are also some community events designed for all ages, like car shows and swap meets.
With the majority of plans for adding additional ATV parks for off-road vehicles in the area canceled, this park is the only one you’ll find that is designed for competitive purposes. It is also a great place to take the family for an outing because you can bring your own vehicles and you’re not limited to just an ATV or dirt bike.
If you’re looking for some adventure on a calm Saturday and want to get away from your normal routine, these parks are a great option. They offer some nice scenery, along with the option of some stunt driving. Some parks are more geared for families than others, but anyone interested in learning a new hobby would be welcome at any of these tracks. So grab your buddies, get in your Jeep, and get ready to ride.
