The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in several different trim levels. Deciding which one is best for you depends on what features you’re looking for. Some people will like the most basic version, while others want more advanced features. Here’s some information to help you decide which 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee trim level is right for you.
Exterior
There are several trim levels to choose from for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so you can easily find the car you’re looking for. The trims include the Laredo, Laredo E, Upland, Limited X, Overland, High Altitude, Altitude, Limited, and Summit. You can also choose from models with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The basic models, such as the Laredo, have a more limited palette of colors to choose from, such as Diamond Black Crystal and Velvet Red Pearl. Other models, such as the Limited and Overland, have more colors available, including Walnut Brown Metallic and Ivory Tri-Coat.
17-inch by 8-inch silver aluminum wheels come standard on the Laredo and Laredo E, while the Altitude and Upland trim levels come with 20-inch by 8-inch black aluminum wheels. The Summit has 20-inch by 8-inch aluminum wheels that are fully polished and the Limited has 18-inch by 8-inch tech grey aluminum wheels.
Amenities
All models of the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee come with dual-zone automatic climate control so your passengers will always be comfortable during the ride. Heated front seats come standard in the Upland, Summit, Limited, Limited X, Altitude, and are optional in the Laredo E. Not only will you stay warm during the cold months but if you get the Overland you’ll also get ventilated seats to help you stay cool when it’s hot out. Heated second-row seats are available on the Altitude, Summit, and Overland trim levels.
Safety
The Upland and Altitude trim levels have the Security and Convenience Group, while this package is optional in the Laredo E. This convenient package comes with a power liftgate, a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, and security alarm. The alarm monitors the ignition switch, doors, and lift gate for any operation that’s not authorized. When it detects this, the headlamps and parking lights will repeatedly flash while the horn sounds so you know that an unauthorized action is happening.
All trim levels come standard with a backup camera that displays a live video feed of the back of the vehicle to the touch screen in front of your car. This lets you know if something gets in the way when you’re trying to back up and helps with objects you can’t see with exterior mirrors alone.
