Key Features of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator High Altitude

Are you looking for a compact pickup with an impressive towing capacity, plenty of space for your cargo, and a pair of powerful engine options under the hood? The Jeep Gladiator with its wide range of trims, covering everything from a basic truck to an off-roading specialist, could be just right for you. The Gladiator High Altitude trim stands out as the top-of-the-range model, making it the perfect choice if you want to combine luxury with utility. Here's a quick overview of what makes the High Altitude unique in the Gladiator lineup. more What Makes the Jeep Gladiator High Altitude Stand Out? Positioned at the top of the trim ladder, the Jeep Gladiator High Altitude offers you an unparalleled choice of interior features for your truck. You get leather upholstery and side steps to make getting in and out that bit easier. The High Altitude rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, which are larger than the Gladiator's other trims. In addition, the Gladiator High Altitude comes with a hardtop roof, LED headlights, and fog lights. Some driver safety features are offered as standard in the High Altitude. These include rear parking sensors, which can make it a lot easier when you're reversing your pickup into a tight parking space. You also have access to blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, two features that can help prevent collisions with other vehicles. Jeep Gladiator High Altitude Engine and Performance Specs You can choose from two engines for your High Altitude. The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 unit that churns out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine gives you plenty of power for driving in all conditions, whether you're heading across town, traveling on the highway, or riding off-road. A 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine is also available, and it can put out 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. If you do a lot of towing, the additional torque may come in handy. The turbo diesel also offers a slightly better fuel economy. The gas-powered engine achieves a gas mileage of 17 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. The turbo diesel engine's combined fuel economy is 25 mpg. When it comes to towing, the High Altitude's capacity is an impressive 6,000 pounds. That's more than enough to haul a decent-sized camper, trailer, or boat for a weekend trip. The Gladiator is great for off-roading with its four-wheel drive, sturdy suspension that can ease out rough terrain, and low-range gears. If you're a serious off-roader, you may prefer the Rubicon trim to the High Altitude. The Rubicon includes shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, and a sway bar to improve articulation over rocks and other large items. Jeep Gladiator High Altitude Interior The Jeep Gladiator is a four-door pickup with seating for five people. At the rear, you get a cargo bed measuring 5 feet in length. The sides of the cargo bed are quite low, making it easy to load items or remove them from your truck. Both rows of seating provide plenty of room for adult passengers. You can enjoy 41 inches of legroom up front and a roomy 38 inches in the rear row. If you need to install child seating in the second row, you'll find two sets of LATCH connectors for the outermost seats and a tether anchor for the middle seat. Gladiator Infotainment and Safety Features As you'd expect from a range-topping trim, the Gladiator High Altitude delivers an impressive infotainment experience. You access Jeep's infotainment system through an 8.4-inch screen and can enjoy your favorite music with a nine-speaker premium stereo. Other standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and USB ports. Finding your way to your next destination is made easy thanks to the standard navigation system. The High Altitude is equipped with an array of driver assistance features. Forward collision warning with emergency braking can alert you to potential accidents and bring your vehicle to a swift stop when necessary. Adaptive cruise control can adjust your speed on the highway so that you maintain a safe distance between your Gladiator and other motorists. Regular off-roaders will make good use of the forward-facing camera to keep an eye on the terrain. Other Jeep Gladiator Trims The High Altitude is the top trim in a lineup that includes eight others. The Gladiator trims, from lowest to highest, are Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Altitude, Willys, Overland, Rubicon, Mojave, and High Altitude. The base Sport trim is ideal if you want a pickup with a functional design that still has plenty of off-roading features, including skid plates and part-time four-wheel drive. The Overland trim adds some extra luxuries to the cabin, such as a larger screen, a navigation system, and automatic climate control. The Mojave trim is a very capable off-roader like the Rubicon, but its focus is more on high-speed off-roading rather than rock crawling. As you can see, the 2022 Gladiator has a diverse lineup of vehicles that includes something for everyone. The High Altitude is a particularly good choice if you want an upscale feel to your cabin, all the tech options offered in the Gladiator, and a capable engine that can tow or haul a heavy load. Here at The Jeep Store, our pickup experts would be delighted to arrange a test-drive in Ocean Township for you so you can see how the Gladiator High Altitude performs on the road before you buy one outright. Black 2015 Jeep Cherokee 2.4 Limited 4x4

2022 Jeep Cherokee Trim Level Comparison

Are you searching for a compact crossover that's just as capable off the beaten track as it is on the highway? The Jeep Cherokee could be your best option. This two-row SUV has great engine options, a class-leading towing capacity, and four trim options that allow you to choose between utility and luxury. Here's a rundown of the 2022 Cherokee trim levels put together by our experts here at The Jeep Store in Ocean Township, New Jersey. more 2022 Jeep Cherokee Overview The 2022 Jeep Cherokee is an SUV with seating for up to five people and an ample cargo area at the rear. Jeep offers two engine options: a V-6 that puts out 271 horsepower and a turbocharged V-4 that generates 270 horsepower. The V-6 performs best for towing, achieving the Cherokee's maximum capacity of 4,500 pounds. The turbocharged V-4 offers punchier acceleration off the line as it generates more torque. There are four trims to choose from in the Cherokee lineup: X, Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited. The trim you choose can affect the cabin's interior design and the available engines and off-roading features. Each trim has something unique to offer our Jeep customers, whether that's incredible off-roading or a luxury ride. Cherokee X The base Cherokee X is a great choice if you want an affordable crossover that's capable of handling some rough terrain. A V-6 engine paired with nine-speed automatic transmission power this model. Four-wheel drive comes standard, and you also get off-road suspension, multiple driving modes for different surfaces, and all-terrain tires. Inside the cabin, the Cherokee X has cloth upholstery, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. The infotainment system has an 8.4-inch screen plus a six-speaker stereo. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. You can adjust basic settings, such as volume and climate control, using the voice recognition feature. The Cherokee X has a decent selection of standard safety features, including forward collision warning and emergency braking assist. Highway drivers will benefit from lane departure warnings and keep lane assist, while the rear parking sensors are helpful when you're maneuvering your Cherokee into a tight spot. Cherokee Latitude LUX The Latitude LUX drops some of the X's off-roading features in favor of a more upscale interior. This makes the Latitude LUX a strong choice for you if you spend most of your driving time on highway or city roads and don't plan on heading off the beaten track very often. The cabin boasts Nappa leather upholstery and a power-adjustable passenger seat. The infotainment system gains a couple of USB ports in the rear row and a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, so you can monitor your vehicle's performance. Other features in this trim include a power liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, and proximity keyless entry. Under the hood, the V-6 remains the standard engine. However, you can opt for the turbocharged four-cylinder unit instead. The Latitude LUX is the only Cherokee in the lineup to come with standard front-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is available as an optional upgrade at the cost of $1,500. Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk If off-roading is what gets you excited, you can't afford to look past the Cherokee Trailhawk. It's equipped with everything you'll need to tackle the most challenging trail or go rock crawling. One of the biggest bonuses with this trim is Jeep's Active Drive Lock 4WD system, which includes a rear locking differential for improved control. Other off-roading features include a rear skid plate, all-terrain tires, and low-speed crawl control. On top of this, the Cherokee Trailhawk has an impressive 8.7 inches of ground clearance, enabling it to evade rocks and other large objects. The Trailhawk trim is the only one in the lineup with a rock mode among the Cherokee's selection of driving modes. The other trims get snow, sand/mud, auto, and sport. The Trailhawk offers the V-6 as your only engine option. Inside the cabin, you get a cloth and leather upholstery, and you can upgrade with options such as a sunroof and a nine-speaker premium stereo. Cherokee Limited The Cherokee Limited is the right choice for you if you want access to a luxurious cabin and all the tech features this crossover has to offer. The cabin features leather upholstery, a sunroof, and a nine-speaker premium stereo. Opting for the Elite package adds ventilated front seats and heated rear seats for extra luxury. Four-wheel drive is standard with this trim. Additional helpful driving features include adaptive cruise control, which can automatically adjust your speed on the highway, and automatic high-beam headlights. The automatic parking assist feature can help you move in and out of the tightest of parking spots. If you want to learn more about the Trailhawk's off-roading adventures or the comfortable ride offered by the Limited, feel free to reach out to us. Whatever model you choose, our Jeep experts are on hand to help you get behind the wheel of a new 2022 Cherokee. Many of Ocean Township's neighborhoods feature beautiful homes and parks, and there's a spot for individuals and families of all kinds. Some areas, like Deal Park and West Allenhurst, are well-established and upscale, with expansive houses. In contrast, areas like Wayside and Colonial Terrace offer a more affordable option for families and newcomers. Ocean Township provides the perfect balance between these two options. Its beautiful neighborhoods feature a variety of eateries, cafes, and venues that give the area culture. Ocean Township is also heavily populated for its size, giving it a lively feel while maintaining the laid-back atmosphere of a small town. The historic city of Trenton is directly west of Ocean Township, and Philadelphia is just over the border with Pennsylvania on the Delaware River. The municipality is located in the middle of the state, giving residents access to other locations throughout the state, including Atlantic City, Newark, and Jersey City. It's Not the Only One Strangely enough, the area we're located in isn't the only Ocean Township in New Jersey. Our municipality is located in Monmouth County, but neighboring Ocean County also includes Ocean Township. Ocean County extends along the coast directly south of Monmouth County and provides many areas for seaside excursions, including beaches, boardwalks, and marinas. What's in a Name? Although it may seem surprising, Ocean Township doesn't include any seaside areas. Ocean Township's name comes from the fact that it originally encompassed parts of coastal Monmouth County. If this comes as a surprise, you'll be happy to know that the ocean is only about a mile away from the township's western border. A short walk or drive through Allenhurst, Deal, Asbury Park, or Elberon puts you on the seashore and gives you access to its attractions, including beaches, seaside restaurants, and boardwalks. A short trip north takes travelers right up to the shore of Sandy Hook Bay. This body of water is part of Raritan Bay, which separates New Jersey from Staten Island and Brooklyn. The Bayshore area includes beaches, biking trails, and lighthouses that provide an excellent view of the New York City skyline. In Ocean Township, the sights and sounds of the sea are never far away. A Long History New Jersey is one of America's original 13 states, so Ocean Township definitely has a long history. The area was originally inhabited by the Lenape people, who also lived in sections of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. The area was later settled by emigrants from the Netherlands and Great Britain, who were progressively joined by Scandinavians, Irish, Scots, Italians, and Black Americans from the South. During the Revolutionary War, Monmouth County was home to one of the most significant battles between the British and the Continental Army at Monmouth Courthouse. During this battle, the training of Baron von Steuben paid off, and the American soldiers could go toe-to-toe with their experienced adversaries. During the colonial period, much of New Jersey was wild and had vast woodland areas. As the 19th and 20th centuries went on, the area gained many new residents and became more heavily urbanized, partly due to the growth of New York and its bedroom suburbs. While Monmouth County dates back to 1683, Ocean Township is a much younger entity and was created by the New Jersey legislature in 1849. Famous Residents Despite its small area, Ocean Township has produced its fair share of prominent Americans. These individuals include entertainers, businesspeople, athletes, and political leaders. Some of the area's most notable natives include NFL players Bob Davis, Kenny Pickett, Phil Villapiano, actress Ashley Tisdale, author and talk show host Wendy Williams, and producer Gloria Monty. Performance Technology The 2022 RAM 1500's standard and available technology packages optimize the truck's engine power and enhance the driving experience. Each new RAM comes with Dodge's Electronic Stability Control Program, which increases driver safety in all terrains and weather conditions. This tool uses sensors to detect over-steering or under-steering and applies the brakes on certain wheels to re-stabilize the truck, keeping you and your passengers safe. Also standard on the RAM is the Electronic Roll Mitigation feature, which can reduce the risk of roll lift by monitoring the steering wheel and applying pressure to the wheels when necessary. Another way that the 2022 RAM 1500 makes the most of its available power is through its aerodynamic design and optional air-enhancing performance packages. The truck has an elevated hood and a sculpted roof, which guides wind strategically across the truck's surface. It also has an active front air dam, which automatically lowers when the truck goes over 30 mph to reduce drag. Cab models have an available Active-Level Four Corner Air Suspension system that lowers the truck body at highway speeds. The RAM 1500's low drag coefficient of .357 means you will get more miles for your fuel. Safety Features Although the 2022 RAM 1500 is a tough truck with massive towing capabilities, it's also a safe vehicle for the whole family. The truck has a variety of available safety packages, letting you choose the features that fit your lifestyle. If you live in a high-traffic area,  you might consider the available Rear Cross Path Detection system, which alerts you to traffic crossing behind you. The system adapts to trailers, keeping your boat, horse, or other cargo safe from a rear-end collision. City drivers might also benefit from the Parallel and Perpendicular Parking Assist feature. The 2022 RAM 1500 also keeps you safe when cruising down the highway, either with or without a trailer hitched to the back. They offer various kinds of pizza, and you can order entire pies or choose flavors by the slice. This makes it an excellent option for groups with different preferences or dietary needs. Flavors include classics like Pepperoni and Mushroom, but you could also opt for something adventurous like Clam, which comes with local clams, lemon, and fresh garlic. Pizza pairs well with a salad, so add something fresh to your order with a Killer Salad or a Ceasar Salad. Sami’s Mediterranean Street Food At the heart of Sami’s Mediterranean Street Food is its chef, Sami Saab. He is Lebanese-born but raised in France by parents who spent much of their lives in Senegal. After moving to the United States, he opened a restaurant that blended culinary influences from the many cultures that shaped his upbringing. What results is a menu of freshly cooked, authentic, and inspired dishes that are both healthy and delicious. One of the most beloved menu items is the Chicken Taouk. However, you might have to order it early because it is popular and sells quickly. If you want a meal you can hold in your hands, opt for a sandwich, like the Kafta Burger made with lamb and beef and topped with feta chees and fresh herbs. Another great option is Sami’s Cheesesteak, a delicious spin on a classic East Coast sandwich. To place an order for delivery, call (732) 825-8411 or place a request online.
